About Us

Hi, we’re Pauline Lenaghan and Dawn Duke – the founders of Pure Interiors. Our story began long before Pure Interiors officially opened its doors in 2019.  We first met while working together in interior design, where we spent three years side by side, learning from each other and discovering how much we shared the same passion for creating homes that not only look beautiful but truly feel like they belong to the people who live in them.  Very quickly, we realised that we worked effortlessly together and dreamed of creating something of our own – a company that put people at the heart of every project. And so, Pure Interiors was born.  

Interior design has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember. Between us, we have over 20 years of experience in design, joinery, and soft furnishings, and we’ve spent most of our careers helping people transform their homes into spaces they can feel proud of. We’re based in Armagh, just 45 minutes from Belfast, but our work takes us all across Northern Ireland and the south of Ireland too – something we feel very fortunate about.  

What makes us love this job so much is that no two clients are ever the same. For us, interior design always begins with people – their lifestyle, their tastes, their dreams for their home. We believe it’s not just about choosing fabrics or moving walls (though we love those details too), but about listening and collaborating to create spaces that feel both practical and deeply personal. We want your home to tell your story, not ours. 

At Pure Interiors, we’ve had the privilege of working on projects of all shapes and sizes – from bespoke joinery pieces like French windows, bannisters, and wall panelling, to complete home renovations that open up spaces and bring more light and life into a house. Whether it’s something small and sentimental or a full-scale transformation, we put the same care and attention into every detail.

For us, design is never just about the final result – it’s about the journey. It’s about building trust with our clients, guiding them through the process, and making sure the experience is as enjoyable as the outcome. Every home we work on is a collaboration, and every project is a chance to create something unique and lasting.
